I have worked at numerous KFC sites, some of them no longer in existence. I have worked for the last few years at the West 106th location after the 125th Street location shut down. I also worked at Lenox Avenue, West 145th Street location.

I started as a crew member then was promoted to shift supervisor. Within the last few months, I was asked to work at different locations when needed. August 2018 to December 2018, I floated between 106th and Broadway, then 1922 3rd Ave., at East 106th Street, and resuming work for one day at 707 Lenox.

Around December 21, 22, 2018, I was asked to go back to 106th/ Broadway site and was told I would be staying there. No problem from me. From December 24th to 31st, I was granted my one-week vacation. Then, on Jan. 1st, 2019 I resumed back to 106th/Broadway with a full schedule.

Within that week, one of my co-workers was terminated, unbeknownst to me. We also got a new Area Coach, also unbeknownst to me. I found out through text message.

The new Area Coach came to the store on Sunday, Jan. 6th, 2019 and made a full two-week schedule for us. One day later, Monday, Jan. 7th, 2019, around 7-9 p.m., Ralph came to the store and told the shift supervisor the store was officially closed. No forewarning or communication of any kind about the store closing to any of us employees.

I got a text message as employees were texting each other about what happened. We were told we were not being placed anywhere, that we had to try and reapply at different locations to see if we could be hired.
